Eat. Fight. Evolve.

Darwin Royale is a free multiplayer battle royale in your browser, where you're a single cell in a shrinking arena full of competitors.

Start small, gobble up biomass, and bolt on organs as you go: spikes, jaws, poppers, poison sacs, cutters, tendrils that grab and drag, fins and tails.

Swap organs at the heart, craft new ones, and when you survive a phase, evolve: stretch your body, grow limbs and appendages, and arm them.

Controls (desktop): WASD or arrow keys to swim, Space to boost.

How a match works:

Phase 1: 50 cells, and only the last 5 go through.

Phase 2: the survivors evolve and face a new field, where 3 go through.

Final phase: last cell standing wins. Watch out for the giant.

The pathogen closes in all the while, shaping the map into corridors and pockets. Venus traps lurk at the edges of the algae.

What makes it different?

Your body is your build: damage cuts real wounds into your membrane, and a hit through an empty spot reaches your nucleus.

Organs you can see working: jaws lunge and chomp, cutters saw, tendrils wrap around and reel in, and poison clouds linger.

Evolve between phases: shape your body, add limbs and appendages, and craft new organs from old ones (spike + shooter = spike popper, tail + jaw = tendril, and many more)

Bots fill every match when there aren't enough players, so there's always a full game, even at 3am.

Sign in to earn ATP from every match: for how far you get, for eliminations, and from three daily challenges. Spend it on cosmetics: body colors, patterns and membrane materials. Cosmetics only change how you look, never how you play.
